WAISSSport 2023 Fast 5 Tournament

What a fantastic day of netball.

Smiles and laughs all round.

Congratulations in the Senior Competition to winners Wai Coll Sparks led by recently named Netball New Zealand Secondary School Trialist Sovia Sabatu. Great to to our top athletes getting amongst the fun. Runners up Kuranui Blue. Can’t go past the Wai Coll 1st XV for the most improved team probably with the highest long range goal accuracy and definitely most laughs and they had a go at umpiring.

In the Juniors it was a close tussle with Chanel Jun A taking out pool play by one goal then KC Juniors winning the final by one, nail biting stuff. Most improved player of the day went to Max from Chanel College.

A big THANK YOU to Sherie Pointon and all the student umpires along with the lovely parents who popped in to support throughout the day.

It was also nice to try out the new sound system and have our branding on show. THANK YOU TRUSTHOUSE.

We hope to see the competition grow next year and bring in fancy dress and best half time dance.
